IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY

This End-User License Agreement ("License") is a legal agreement between you
(either an individual or a single entity) and Samtics for the POS PILOT software
product, including associated media, printed materials, and online or electronic
documentation (the "Software").

1. GRANT OF LICENSE

Subject to a valid license key issued by Samtics for your specific installation
("Install ID"), Samtics grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to
install and use the Software on the number of devices authorized by your
purchase (Standard or Pro edition, as stated on your license key).

2. RESTRICTIONS

You may not:
  a) copy, modify, distribute, or sublicense the Software except as expressly
     permitted by this License;
  b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the
     extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law;
  c) remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software;
  d) use the Software without a valid, unexpired license key after any trial
     period has ended (trial use is limited as described in the product).

3. OWNERSHIP

The Software is licensed, not sold. Samtics retains all right, title, and
interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.

4. UPDATES

Updates and upgrades may be provided under separate terms. Lifetime licenses
do not include free updates indefinitely; update/upgrade fees may apply
(typically 10–30% of the license price). Subscription (monthly/yearly) plans
include updates for the duration of an active subscription.

5. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL SAMTICS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING
OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
